Is there a better way to spend half an hour, than sat in a comfy chair, with your feet soaking in a hot bath of aromatic salts? There may be, but I don’t think so. It’s not just the bath salts themselves, it’s the fact that you can’t do anything with your feet in a bowl of hot water. You can’t get up when someone calls you. You can’t jump to answer the phone, you can’t suddenly remember something in the next room and hop off to retrieve it. What you get isn’t just bath salts, it’s 30 minutes of enforced immobility, where you exit the world and view it only as an incurious bystander. People make allowances for you. No one bothers someone whose got their feet stuck in a bath of warm salted water. Instead of asking you for help, they go and do things themselves. It’s amazing what people can do for themselves when they have to! What you get is the perfect excuse to just sit and ignore all comers for 30 glorious minutes.There’s 500g in a packet, and the directions suggest about 2-3 handfuls per use. In my case this is somewhere around 30-50g, so I’ll get 10-15 doses out of one packet. It scents the water very nicely, with a predominate smell of tea tree and the salts gently remove dead and dried up bits of skin as you sit with your feet immersed. For your feet, there can be no doubt it’s very healthy experience, but what I liked most was the effect it has on your mind, relaxing your overwrought nerves, taking away all the cares and stresses of the day. My first experimentation into foot pampering. I liked the experience very muchly and found 50g per treatment quite adequate.I am now trying an alternative, better value, product that I think is not as good as this product - to which I am quite likely to return.
