Salicylic Acid Body Wash Soap

I quite often use soaps as opposed to shower gels and I find them more eco friendly and also often more gentle.

This soap has the traditional typical soap smell and it lathers very well.

It dries out my skin a little, it makes the skin literally squeaky clean, so I really have to make sure I do moisturise immediately after the shower.

I find it works for me to use it only a few times a week and not every shower.

I do have combination oily skin (with fine lines) but for my face it is a bit too harsh.

Might be absolutely perfect for someone with super oily skin. But still, don't forget to moisturise!

I usually use a lot of face scrub/washes for my face but I have never used a face soap so I was intreged to how it would be.

You don't need to add much water to this soap to get a good lather.

It definitely feels like soap, after you have washed your face with this and dried it you get that squeaky feeling on your face.

My face definitely felt clean after using this and I feel like this should last quite a long time.

It has quite a pleasant smell to it too, overall I am quite impressed with this face soap and I think the price is fair for what it offers.

Having had problem and sensitive skin all my life, I’m always on the lookout for new soap products, and when I was offered this one, I jumped at it.

The box was a bit difficult to open, but as the bar isn’t going back in, it doesn’t matter if you tear the box.

I’ve not heard of Salicylic Acid, but I have used many many body scrubs, be it in bar form, salt scrubs or gels and they have always helped my skin, especially if I have an outbreak of acne, so the scrubs help prevent the outbreak in the first place. You can always tell if a scrub works, if you get no outbreaks till after the scrub has run out, then it obviously works, and so far this is working.

Having now read up on Salicylic Acid, it come from the willow tree and is used as an a Bactericide and an Antiseptic, used to strip off the top layer of skin and commonly used to treat acne, dandruff, warts, ringworm etc.

The bar of soap lathers up well, and a little goes a long way, and the bar seems to be lasting a long time, unlike some soaps, that are so soft, they disappear within the week. This bar is genuinely nice and hard and is a good size and weight at 100gms, and sits neatly in the palm of your hand. It smells slightly of coconut and tea tree, this being two of the ingredients, I don’t mind the smell of tea tree, but some might not like it. It isn’t a strong smell, in fact the bars aroma isn’t strong at all.

After use, my skin feels fresh and tight and I can see that the pores have been scrubbed…

This is a nice soap with a mild smell and which is great.

Soap bar has its black dots they also get resolved.

Size is the good and smooth price is also good.

However I have a dry skin after using the soap my face even became more dry so

I think this is more effective for normal to oily skin type and for dry skin people it can be

littlevery dry.

I'm very picky about the products I put on my face, having tried hundreds of different soaps, washes, and cleansing creams over the years. I'm 33 and have had acne-prone skin all of my teenage and adult life.

After the first use, I was outstood by how smooth and clean my skin was! My skin is no longer red and patchy. The smell is really pleasant and not overpowering and it doesn’t take a lot to lather up. I’ve used it twice a day so far but really like it. I have very sensitive skin and many skincare products cause me allergic dermatitis but I've had no problems with this. I find most soaps really dry my skin out but I don’t feel that with this one.

This is not only an environmentally friendly product with no plastic packaging, but also does an excellent job of making my skin feel really clean and noticeably calmer and smoother. I will definitely be buying this again.
